I am a freelance picture researcher specialising in art and history titles, and deal with all aspects of picture management for U.K., European and U.S. clients. I have widespread contacts with international picture libraries, museums, academic institutions, governmental agencies, educators, advertising agencies, production companies, photographers, art galleries and private collections.

I can offer the following services:

setting and managing limited budgets
negotiating search and reproduction fees
editing and presenting pictures at picture meetings
commissioning photography
compiling picture captions and credits
clearing permissions and rights, liaising with artists' estates, DACS, ARS etc.
using Capture Desk or Cypress Image Gallery, if required, to present and manage images online

I have an M.A. in the History of Art (Modernism and the Politics of Representation) from University College London.

I am a member of the Picture Researcher's Association and the American Society of Picture Professionals.
